Price depends on;
1) Cost to rent the dvd from DMM, which is
usually 480 or 980 yen, and is listed on the catalogue page.
2) Length of the movie. Long special feature
dvds use double layered disk**, which is
more
expensive than the usual single layer disk*.
* Single Layer: Most of the movies are single
layer, which can usually store about 120
minutes of data.
** Double Layer: Some long movies must be
stored in double layered disk, which can
usually store about 240 minutes of data.
